I have been married to my beautiful wife Kimberly since 2005.  We have one son and one dog.  I grew up in South Dakota and came to Minnesota to attend Bethel Seminary and just never left.  At Bethel I earned a Masters of Divinity in Transformational Leadership.  I've served as the lead pastor in churches in Aitkin and Waseca, MN for 16 years before joining the team at Quarry.

I enjoy riding my motorcycle, yelling at my TV when the purple teams plays with the weird shaped ball (Skol Vikings!), smoking delicious meats, and reading great books. I have had the opportunity to do lots of fun and amazing things in life, but the thing I still enjoy most is telling people about Jesus!

My favorite book of the Bible is John.  My favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 5:17.  My favorite song is "If I Stand" by Rich Mullins. And I don't drink coffee.
