Monticello’s Riverfest celebration is happening this weekend and we’ll be joining the parade again this year! We will be promoting Summer Blast Family Camp by handing out hotdogs and invite cards! Parade line up is at 11am and the parade begins at noon. Plan to attend first service that day!
Volunteers will receive a Summer Blast t shirt to wear during the event. More information will be emailed out the week of July 1st.
We want as many people as possible to walk in the parade and we would love for you to join us! This event is always a blast and it's not too late for you to join us and walk in the parade. A few things to keep in mind:
It will be hot and we will not have a traditional 'float' for children to ride on if they get tired. The parade route is around 14 blocks. We will have waters for everyone but please plan accordingly if you have children.
The parade starts at 12 PM and we are float #-- (TBD) in the parade lineup for those who want to watch us!
