Be a Man...For King and Country

This weekend, we continue our Be a Man series by stepping into one of the most familiar, iconic stories in all of Scripture: David and Goliath. For many of us, this story has been flattened into a motivational tale about overcoming odds. But when you slow down and really sit with the text, you discover something deeper. David's courage isn't loud, aggressive, or self-promoting. It's rooted in a wholehearted trust in God and a holy concern for God's name, rather than a desire to prove himself or dominate others.
